Terms of Service

Welcome to SoftwareLaw. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our domain SoftwareLaw.club ("Site") and the services, digital materials and goods offered by SoftwareLaw.

1. Legal Advisory Services

SoftwareLaw provides customized legal guidance for software businesses, including consultation, document drafting and compliance reviews. Fees for advisory services are as set out in the relevant engagement letter or proposal.

2. Digital Materials and Infoproducts

We offer e-books, templates, online workshops and other digital resources ("Digital Materials"). All access is granted via download or online portal upon full payment.

3. Physical Merchandise

SoftwareLaw may offer printed publications, branded stationery and related items ("Goods"). All Goods will be shipped to the address you provide at checkout.

4. Refund and Reimbursement Policy

4.1 Advisory Services

If you cancel an advisory engagement at least 3 business days before the scheduled start date, you will receive a full refund of fees paid. Requests made less than 3 business days in advance are subject to a pro-rata charge for work already committed. Once drafting of bespoke documents has commenced, fees are non-refundable due to dedicated resource allocation. However, you may request to reschedule services without additional charge, subject to availability.

4.2 Digital Materials

For Digital Materials that have not been accessed or downloaded, you may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase. If you have downloaded or accessed the materials, no reimbursement is available.

4.3 Physical Merchandise

You may return undamaged Goods within 14 days of delivery. Returns must be sent to Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956, Singapore, at your expense. Upon inspection and acceptance, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

5. Rescheduling and Cancellation

To reschedule an advisory session or workshop, notify us at least 48 hours in advance via the contact form. Approved rescheduling requests will not incur additional fees. Cancellations after this period will be handled per section 4.1.

6. No-Refund Services

Certain premium retainers, fixed-fee corporate workshops and on-site training sessions require significant preparation and are therefore non-refundable. These terms will be clearly stated in your engagement agreement and justified by the commitment of expert personnel and materials.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
